Boulder a finalist in Outside magazine’s ‘Best Town Ever’ contest

Outside magazine has named Boulder a finalist in its “Best Town Ever” competition.

To create the list of finalists, Outside editors looked through their archives to find featured cities that offer a balance of great culture, perfect scenery, stress-free and reasonable cost-of-living, and easy access to the outdoors, Outside magazine editors said in a news release announcing the contest.

Boulder is competing against Charleston, S.C.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Madison, Wis.; Portland, Ore.; Portland, Maine; Santa Fe, N.M.; Ashland, Ore.; Burlington, Vt.; and Tucson, Ariz.

The contest, which will be conducted for three weeks exclusively on Facebook, is now open for voting.
